Day To Day...

Plenty to speak of in the two days. A mini vacation in my backyard, getting ready for the big show, Ol-A-Palooza. However. We will get to the synopsis at a later date. All I can say is that I can empathize with every Olympic skier, snowboarder and hockey player who crashed and burned over the last month, and as a result will miss the Games.

A plan for an epic riding session on the big hills with the Skip and First Mate was being formulated by Muskoka and myself. However, a shanked backside 180 to nasty ankle sprain in the Harmony Bowl this aft, has thrown any Olympic riding into question. But not nixed. The Maniwaki team doctors have left room for the possibility of getting a green light in a few weeks, so I intend to be lining up at the start gate.

Until then, it's elevation and plenty of ice. Hope there's something on the tube tomorrow...
